In 2007, two men were sitting at a table in a local pub.  They were discussing how the 'Chris Moneymaker' poker boom was in full swing.  Sick and tired of the badly run, poorly organised and frankly dire efforts of some publicans to introduce decent pub poker to their establishments, they embarked on a fantastic journey.

 The mission?  Simples.... Start a pub poker league of their own!

And did they succeed?  Of course they did!
